Woman's folk costume . Romanian Folk Costume on Sale:
Voiteg, Banat

Age: about 80 years.
Blouse, Skirt: commercial fabric AND very intricate hand made embroidery, one stitch next to another.
One stitch to every thread. Incredible dense. Elegant and distingushied.
Delicate color combination of brown, yellow, white
The front and the back of the skirt has a 1.5" wide band of embroidery;
On the side of the skirt the embroidery band is wider and there is vertical embroidery strips also.
Same pattern embroidery on the blouse.
The costume is old--there are a few spots (which I could not catch on the camera)
The aprons are woven; however the aprons are trimmed with handmade lace.
The back apron is ornated with fringes, in the traditional BANAT style.
